I'm dying, but it's for the change
I just want to share who I really am
I can't change anything beyond myself
Why even care about others when you don't even care about yourself?
Tried too hard to be a part of it
But it's useless
I can only liberate myself from the roots
I know it's somewhere inside
I don't even remember where or when
I believe it's a treasure to be found
I already understand enough to know
And that's what I'm thankful for
I thought I was fine until my body couldn't handle it
My body disconnected, today my uterus screamed
And had to cry it all out and hug myself
We truly want to be seen and heard
We shouldn't keep hiding
Or we won't know ~what~ we are
I want to be comfortable dancing
And connecting my body back
Being a woman got really hard
I used to feel uncomfortable saying I was one
When I decided to become what you wanted
I thought that would make us better
But that's just unsustainable
I am my own friend
And that's what I wanted to say
Or something very similar
